A New Year, a new beginning

I went to Pinterest to find images for my post about 2023, and while I found many beautiful and inspiring pictures, I also came upon several quotes. So as I wish you all the best for the coming new year, I offer some quotes that might cheer you on in your goals and pursuits.

First of all, take the plunge – Begin.

And believe that change is possible.

Don’t underestimate the power of a day

or the power of putting in the time and work.

Take control of the way you shape your life and allow for possibility.

And always, seek out beauty and wonder.

  5. Thank you so much for passing along these inspiring quotes–in just a few words each conveys a wealth of advice!

    I would like to share a line which I refer to often from Kate Quinn’s book The Rose Code. Midway through the novel the main character Osla says: “Today, there was only the now, and she wasn’t going to waste the now obsessing about what lay ahead.”

    Also very good advice, but challenging to do!

      1. Forgot to mention I did find your newest novel under the Christmas tree, so as soon as I finish re-reading Christmastime 1945, I am starting it!
